Pizza/Calzone Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 roll pizza dough
  • 2 cups mozarella , shredded
  • 4 ounces ham or prosciutto
  • 1/2 package frozen creamed spinach
  • 5 peperoncini peppers , thinly sliced
  • 10 black olives , sliced
  • 4 ounces mushrooms , chopped
  • 6-12 leaves basil , whole
  • 4 Tbsp pasta sauce
  • 1/4 cup parmesan , shredded
  • garlic powder , to taste
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion , sliced or chopped
  • salt , to taste
  • Italian Spices , to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 425º F
1. Spread pizza dough on floured counter
2. Spread 1 cup of the mozzarella on dough
3. Add all other ingredients (except parmesan, remaining mozzarella, and olive oil), one layer at a time
4. Add the other cup of mozzarella on top
5. Roll dough as tightly as possible without tearing it and tuck ends underneath
6. Brush the olive oil over the outside and sprinkle with salt and italian spices
7. Sprinkle with parmesan
8. Place on foil lined baking pan, seam side down, and place in oven for 25 min
9. Let rest for 5-10 min before slicing into 3/4" slices
